While reservations are recommended, walk-ins are equally welcome. Even on our busiest nights, we do our best to make room for impromptu guests. We take online reservations for groups of up to six people.
Subject to availability, we can host large parties of 7 to 16 guests with a three course menu priced at $75 per person (exclusive of service fee and tax). Please contact us for further details if you're interested.
A few things worth noting:
We don’t have a phone, but we promise we don’t value prompt communication any less. We check our email continuously throughout business hours and reply to inquiries as quickly as they are received. You can also use OpenTable to communicate with us directly about existing reservations. Should a phone call be necessary, just let us know us much and we’ll happily give you a call.
Parking in the Adams Morgan neighborhood is scarce. We recommend using public transportation or a ride-hailing service to make the trip. Colonial Parking operates a garage on 18th Street one block south of the restaurant, but availability is limited. Street parking is available but unreliable, especially on the weekends. Please allow extra travel time if you do drive.
We welcome children of all ages and offer high chairs as needed. Please include all children in your guest count regardless of age, so we can plan accordingly.
We can handle most but not all allergies and dietary restrictions. We can easily avoid gluten, nuts, shellfish, and pork, while vegetarian and vegan options are always available. Unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate a compound gluten and dairy allergy. If you have questions about a specific allergy or dietary restriction, please reach out to us before booking your reservation.
We add a 20% service fee to all checks. This entire fee is distributed as wages and benefits among all non-management employees. There is an optional tip line if you would like to add additional gratuity. These tips are distributed among all hourly employees, including both service staff and those who work behind the scenes to lay the groundwork for service.

Bill Jensen owns Reveler's Hour in the historic Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC. He formerly co-owned the Michelin-starred Tail Up Goat and received Michelin's 2021 Washington, DC Sommelier Award. At the height of pandemic-era lockdowns, he launched a widely beloved virtual Wine School which continued for two years of regular Sunday instruction. He believes that drinking should be an act of replenishment, renewal, and discovery, that wine functions best when it is about more than what’s in the glass, becoming the sum of the place and the people who produce it.

Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Head Chef Mari Kolchraiber brings her vibrant culinary heritage to every dish she creates. Her career has taken her across the globe from Brazil to Spain, France, Qatar, and ultimately Washington, DC. Her approach is deeply rooted in early memories of helping her mother make traditional local dishes. She is passionate about creating the kind of soulful food that prioritizes sustainability, seasonality, and a sense of community. Mari looks forward to further evolving a menu rooted in local sourcing with additional options off our beautiful wood fired grill.

Huntley Skinker is the daytime engine that powers this Rube Goldberg device. His birth was prophesied by Hestia, Goddess of the Hearth, who required a mortal successor at the stove. Huntley taught Robuchon how to make potatoes. He convinced Marco Pierre White to return his stars. He introduced Ferran Adría to liquid olives then realized he prefered them in their original solid state. Huntley declined the Bocuse d'Or, because he thought the medal would clash with his regular flannel shirt. He was elected Mayor of Flavortown but refused to bleach his hair for the job. He knows that great food is made with great love, and he's been spreading love at Reveler's Hour since we first opened our doors.

Em Carter was born and raised in upstate New York. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of America with a degree in baking and pastry arts but turned to managing a wine store the day after her 21st birthday. Em started working service at a Loudon County wine bar where she first met Bill, "stalked him back to the city and the rest is history." She once dreamed of pacing the floor at a haute temple of fine dining but realized her love of wine is better served in an unpretentious setting among the kind of workaday luxuries she loves best.
